At Edits That Work, we aim to provide high-quality editing services delivered electronically. This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which clients may receive a full or partial refund.

1. General Policy
All refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery or the expected delivery date.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

2. Missed Turnaround Time / Deadline
We guarantee on-time delivery based on the service level selected at checkout.
You are eligible for a 100% refund if:

We fail to deliver your completed order by the guaranteed deadline and

The delay was not caused by missing files, unclear instructions, revision requests, or other client-side factors.
2.1 Exclusions
The turnaround-time guarantee does not apply when delays result from:

Late or incomplete submission of files

Ambiguous, contradictory, or changing instructions

Requests for additional services not included in the original order

Client technical issues (e.g., inability to access emailed files)
-
Force majeure events (e.g., outages, natural disasters)
3. Inaccurate Package Selection Completion
A refund may be granted when the service delivered does not match the package or service level you paid for.
Examples include:

You purchased a “Premium Editing” package but received only “Standard Editing” features

You purchased an expedited turnaround but received a longer turnaround
3.1 Resolution Process
Depending on the situation, we may offer:

A partial refund (if most services were completed correctly), or

A full refund (if the order was substantially incorrect), or

Redelivery of the correct service at no extra charge
4. Incomplete Project
You may be eligible for a refund if the delivered work is substantially incomplete based on the package purchased and the documents submitted.
Incomplete project examples include:

Portions of the document missing or unedited

Required elements of the chosen package not fulfilled

Sections clearly skipped or overlooked
4.1 Exclusions
Refunds are not granted for:

Minor stylistic disagreements

Subjective dissatisfaction with editing style when services were completed as described

Outcomes beyond our control (e.g., grades, publication acceptance)
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds are not issued for:

Client errors (wrong document uploaded, wrong email, incorrect instructions)

Change of mind after work has begun

Requests outside the scope of the originally purchased service

Failure to read service descriptions before ordering
If work is already completed or significantly underway, only partial refunds may be available.
6. Proof of Delivery
All services are delivered electronically.
A successfully sent email containing the completed files or download link constitutes proof of delivery.
If you did not receive your files, you must notify us within 48 hours, and we will resend them at no cost.
